Gladys will be at the Pasadena Artwalk on October 12, 2019 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, rain or shine!
Gladys was juried in with abstract art but she will have a few select representational pieces as well.

You may find Gladys in Booth #30, between S. Oakland Avenue and S. Madison Avenue on E. Green Street.
Closer to Madison Avenue. There will be plenty of other fun activities to do.

First Online Juried Art Exhibit

Happy to announce two of my paintings were juried into the 9th Annual Figurative
Art Exhibition at Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery.

This is the first online jury exhibit I have entered as I normally only enter local
art shows.  There were 845 submissions from 35 countries so it's a different feeling
knowing that I was juried into an art show with artists from other parts of the world.

January 27, 2018 Wine & Art Auction Event at DTLA Arts District

Gladys will be at the Casa of Los Angeles Wine and Art 4th Annual Event on January 27, 2018.


Gladys has donated her painting L. A. Bus to raise funds for CASA of Los Angeles which mobilizes community volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse and neglect.

There is wine tasting, sampling delicious bites from local eateries and great art to be auctioned for a good cause.

Event will take place from 6:00pm-9pm at the DTLA Arts District on 2143 Violet Street in Los Angeles.

Nov. 11, 2017 Opening Reception at EAP

You are invited to the opening reception on November 11, 2017 at the Escondido Municipal Art Gallery.  Hours: 5:30pm-8:00pm. Refreshments will be served.

Gladys' artwork “Happy Dance” and “Los Feliz Dog” were juried into the Art Riot Uncensored exhibit. Los Feliz Dog was awarded 3rd place by Juror Wendy Maruyama.

Gladys will be there, so stop by and say hello.

Gladys' painting "Forecast (Let it Be)" and "Pretty in Pink" were juried into the Re-Imagined Woodaman art exhibit at the Escondido Municipal Art Gallery. Juror: Johnny Tran. 

The reception is from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.  There will be appetizers and drinks.  Gladys will be present and looking forward to meeting people how follow her work.

Gladys' painting "Bertha" was juried into the Contemporary Realism art exhibit at the Escondido Municipal Art Gallery. Juror: Michael Steirnagle. 

The reception is from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.  There will be appetizers and drinks.  Gladys will be out of town and not able to attend opening reception but recommends this exhibit.

Dear Beautiful Art Friends,

I just finished reading Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert.  I love the way she writes, I enjoy her sense of humor, and though the book was not what I expected, it sure hit home in many areas.  After reading it I felt I got permission to create my own art.
